What is Eurythmy? History About the TrainingGalleryContact Us

The view of the world and the human being that is called Anthroposophy was inaugurated and developed by Rudolf Steiner (1864 - 1925), and eurythmy is one of the many disciplines and activities that have arisen from it, beginning in 1912. It is based on the principle that the creative, living forces inherent in singing and speech are also latent in the form, proportions and musical-rhythmical nature of the entire human being. Eurythmy stimulates and cultivates this latency, to develop a language of expresive movement and gesture whereby the whole human being becomes both player and instrument of a visible speaking and singing that are in true concordance with 'auditory' speech and music.
